Annie Parnell

Annie Parnell is a writer and audio producer based in Richmond, Virginia. She is the host of Jazz Weeknights and The Undertow on VPM, Virginia’s home for public media. She currently writes copy for LawnStarter, LawnLove, and other clients, and her writing on music and pop culture can be found in Paste Magazine, FLOOD Magazine, PopMatters, The Boot, and elsewhere.

Previously, Annie was a producer for news and culture at WTJU. Her fiction and poetry has been published in the Virginia Literary Review. In college, she was co-host of the weekly radio show Cowboy Church on WXTJ and the Editor-in-Chief of The Declaration.
